They are a well-established, family-run food business supplying high-quality produce into the UK foodservice market. Founded over a decade ago, the company has grown steadily to a multi-million-pound turnover, supported by a close-knit team and a strong reputation built on long-standing industry relationships. They supply chefs who care about provenance, quality and consistency. The range includes a selection of premium meat products and specialist ingredients, sourced with a strong focus on quality and provenance, and supplied to professional kitchens on a daily basis. As part of our next stage of growth, I’m looking for someone to help expand their presence across London, Buckinghamshire and Surrey. The Role
· This is a business development-led position, focused on building new relationships while working with some existing accounts to start. · You will be out in the field, speaking directly with chefs, GMs and buyers in restaurants and hotels, understanding what they need and supplying products that genuinely add value to their kitchens. · This role is open because the business wants to grow the London and surrounding regions properly and sees this hire as a long-term investment. What You’ll Be Doing
· Developing new business across London, Buckinghamshire and Surrey · Building strong, credible relationships with chefs and senior kitchen decision-makers · Selling products chefs buy regularly, with average orders starting from around £60 · Working towards a realistic annual revenue target of circa £300,000 · Managing your own diary and pipeline, planning how many appointments you can effectively hold each day · Representing the business and its products in a way that reflects their quality and provenance Who This Would Suit
This role could suit an ex-chef or someone from a foodservice or food-led sales background who understands kitchens, seasonality and the realities of service. The right person will be: · Passionate about food and the hospitality industry · Driven, resilient and comfortable working independently · Confident speaking with chefs and buyers at eye level · Energetic, motivated and a little bit “all-in” · Someone who understands food seasonality and how chefs buy. · Cultural fit matters. The team is hands-on, fast-moving and invested. This is a big hire for the business, and they want to get it right. Package & Benefits
