Now, we’re looking for a skilled Commercial Insurance Broker to join our Leeds-based team and take ownership of a varied and valuable client portfolio.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Serve as the key point of contact for clients, acting as their risk advisor throughout the full insurance cycle
  • Prepare and deliver timely renewal quotes and insurance proposals
  • Support Account Executives in tailoring coverage to meet evolving client needs
  • Maintain strong insurer relationships and negotiate best terms for client retention
  • Help develop new business opportunities and support cross-selling activity
  • Liaise across departments to gather accurate policy information and present risk clearly to insurers
  • Ensure accurate and well-maintained client files and documentation
  • Stay up to date with FCA compliance and continuously seek opportunities for process improvements

 

What we’re looking for

  • At least 5 years’ experience in commercial insurance (motor and non-motor)
  • Strong understanding of accounts with GWP ranging from £75,000 to £250,000
  • CII qualified or working towards it
  • A client-first mindset with strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and insurers
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Acturis or similar policy management systems is a plus
