Job Title: Global Account Manager – Costco
Location: US Remote 
Salary: Up to $149,700 + Commission/Package 
 
Role Overview

The Costco Account Manager will be responsible for the strategic management and growth of the Costco account, with a strong focus on tactical sales execution in partnership with brokers. The role will centre on driving brand awareness, expanding distribution, and enhancing the listing base through data-driven selling stories, KPI tracking, and promotional execution.

This position will also support account management efforts through customer and segment mapping, cross-functional project coordination, and operational support. A key objective of the role is to improve accountability, transparency, and performance across global sales operations.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year strategic growth plans internally and with Costco
• Lead cross-functional sales projects, managing budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Leverage internal and external data sources to build compelling selling stories and track performance
• Build strong relationships with Costco buying offices, regions, and senior stakeholders across the US and internationally
• Manage broker partnerships at both an operational and strategic level
• Work cross-culturally with international teams while maintaining a cohesive global account strategy
• Build, maintain, and review accurate demand forecasts
• Proactively identify data-backed growth opportunities that meet customer and consumer needs
• Drive projects to completion through strong cross-functional collaboration
• Create and manage regular communications, meetings, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with all contracts, procedures, and internal policies
• Influence CRM and sales technology strategy across the full lead-to-revenue lifecycle
• Support leadership with analysis and key deliverables, including annual planning and board materials
• Share competitive insights and support trade show planning and post-event analysis

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Sales, Marketing, or Business
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience successfully managing and selling to Costco
• Business-level proficiency in English; additional languages advantageous
• Strong experience with syndicated data platforms 
• Experience using Costco and customer proprietary portals
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience working with account and product P&Ls
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and creative thinking skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
