What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and supporting department managers across the UK & Ireland.

  • Turning strategy into delivery – making sure targets are met and standards kept high.

  • Coaching, developing, and building capability across your teams.

  • Managing budgets, driving cost efficiency, and negotiating with suppliers.

  • Improving systems and embedding processes that actually stick.

  • Fostering collaboration across departments to keep everything joined up.

  • Leading change projects and guiding people through transitions.

What you’ll need

  • A strong track record of managing large operational teams.

  • Confidence with budgets, contracts, and commercial decision-making.

  • Clear, effective communication skills.

  • Comfortable with Excel, Office, and picking up new systems quickly.

  • Flexibility to travel

  • Energy, resilience, and a hands-on leadership style.

The basics

  • Full-time, Birmingham HQ based.

  • Core hours 9–5, with flexibility when needed.

  • Regular UK & Ireland travel.
