Quality Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Process & Quality Engineer to support sustaining production operations for a leading technology manufacturer in the energy storage sector. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex production challenges, and is driven to improve product quality and operational performance.

You will play a key role in quality assurance, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Americas region, working closely with internal teams and external manufacturing partners. Candidates should bring strong judgment, collaborative skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and product excellence.

This is a on-site position with 1 day remote

• Drive improvements in product quality by identifying production issues and developing cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

• Partner with contract manufacturing teams to introduce new products into established production lines.

• Utilize and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS); ensure compliance with relevant safety and environmental standards.

• Create and update manufacturing documentation, including process flows, work instructions, routings, and change requests.

• Support deviation management and corrective/preventative action processes.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to achieve and surpass quality and productivity targets.

• Conduct root cause analyses for product and process issues.

• Track, analyze, and improve key production KPIs.

• Lead factory visits for customer inspections, audits, and quality reviews.

• Participate in Material Review Boards, ensuring proper disposition of nonconformances.

• Enhance factory acceptance testing protocols and overall quality controls.

• Experience in battery manufacturing, BESS, electronics, automotive, or other advanced manufacturing environments.

• Background working with automated production lines.

• Strong understanding of quality systems, process controls, and industry best practices.

• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Excellent attention to detail with a data-driven mindset.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise documentation.

• Highly organized; able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a growing, fast-moving environment.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience considered.

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience (degree may offset some requirements).

• Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or experience with Lean methodologies is a plus.

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus.
