Lead the assessment and prioritization of target markets, balancing cost, risk, infrastructure readiness, and customer demand.
Create a forward-looking development roadmap that identifies optimal regions and properties based on market dynamics, regulatory conditions, and infrastructure access.
Provide strategic recommendations on where and how to deploy capital, optimize timing, and strengthen long-term positioning in priority markets.
Oversee the full site selection and acquisition process, ensuring a steady pipeline of projects aligned with company goals.
Manage negotiations and transaction execution across letters of intent, purchase agreements, and partnership arrangements.
Direct all pre-development diligence efforts, including zoning, entitlements, environmental assessments, and utility feasibility.
Define internal standards and repeatable processes for site evaluation, acquisition, and development to drive consistency and efficiency.
Partner with internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, finance, and commercial teams to align site plans with capacity needs and financial targets.
Work collaboratively with external stakeholders on design parameters, permitting, incentive programs, and energy or infrastructure coordination.
Act as the senior interface with developers, municipalities, utilities, and community representatives to secure supportive conditions and long-term partnerships.
Recruit, develop, and lead a best-in-class Site Development and Acquisition team.
Set and track clear metrics for acquisition velocity, development readiness, and portfolio balance.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance across global teams.
Represent the company as an industry leader within the digital infrastructure and data center community.
At least 12 years of experience in large-scale real estate, infrastructure, or site development, ideally within data centers, energy, or telecom.
Proven track record delivering multi-site or multi-region development programs.
Strong understanding of technical infrastructure requirements (power, water, connectivity) and the permitting or regulatory frameworks that govern them.
Demonstrated success structuring and negotiating complex transactions, incentive packages, or joint ventures.
History of building and managing high-performing cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
Comfortable operating within a fast-moving, growth-oriented, and entrepreneurial environment.
Background in hyperscale or large-scale data center development.
Established professional network within key development regions or industry sectors.
Knowledge of land use, zoning, entitlements, and local authority engagement processes.
Experience managing power procurement or energy strategy discussions with utilities.
Exposure to executive or board-level strategy discussions related to site planning and capital deployment.
