The Opportunity:
As a Desk-Based Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of B2B clients using GPS Tracking, Asset Tracking, Vision Solutions, and IoT products. Your role is all about relationship management — building trust, optimizing product usage, driving account performance, and identifying growth opportunities.
You’ll act as the primary point of contact for your customers, ensuring they get the most value from the solution while maintaining strong commercial results.
Please note: This role is based full-time on-site at the company’s Arlington, VA office.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage a portfolio of existing B2B customers, serving as their main point of contact
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships through regular check-ins and performance reviews
- Support customers in maximizing product usage and value across the Telematics suite
- Monitor account performance and proactively address risks to retention or satisfaction
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, aligning solutions with business needs
- Conduct account reviews to ensure customer objectives are being met
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Operations, and Finance teams
- Maintain accurate customer records in Salesforce CRM and leverage reporting tools
- Provide actionable feedback on customer experience, product enhancements, and service improvements
- Stay current on product features and industry trends through regular training and development
What You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years’ experience in B2B Account Management, Customer Success, or a related role
- Background in Telematics, SaaS, or tech-based solutions is a strong advantage
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to spot and act on growth opportunities
- Experience using CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office suite
- Highly organized and capable of managing a high volume of client interactions with ease
- A proactive, customer-first approach with strong attention to detail
