Are you looking to break into the world of finance? We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Operations Assistant to join our busy billing team in Crewe. You’ll gain hands-on experience in billing operations, data management, process improvement and cross-team collaboration — all while being part of a forward-thinking organisation committed to innovation and sustainability.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting monthly billing processes from start to finish
• Maintaining billing records and ensuring accuracy in customer orders
• Helping to prepare billing documents and distribute invoices to clients
• Assisting in the review of data for errors or discrepancies
• Working on improvement initiatives to make billing more efficient
• Communicating with customer service and internal teams to resolve queries
• Supporting audit and compliance activities with clear, documented work

What we’re looking for

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Confident using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas a bonus)
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
• Great communication skills and the ability to work well with others
• Previous admin or finance-related experience is a plus, but not essential
• Knowledge of systems like Salesforce or Affinity is helpful but not required
