Are you a hands-on, high-energy leader with experience in fast-paced logistics or retail distribution? We’re Nter Talent, proudly supporting a well-known retailer in the search for a Nights Operations Manager to oversee their busy distribution centre in Waltham Cross.

The role:
You’ll take the reins of the late shift operation, leading your team to deliver smooth, efficient, and high-performing warehouse and distribution processes. Working 9pm to 6am across any 5 nights from 7, you’ll be a key part of ensuring store deliveries go out on time and service levels are consistently met.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and motivate a large team of operatives, supervisors, and shift leads

• Oversee goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch functions

• Drive performance, quality, and compliance across the shift

• Work closely with senior site leadership to meet KPIs and service targets

• Ensure a safe, well-organised working environment and support continuous improvement

About you:

• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced retail, eCommerce, or logistics DC

• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and shift operations

• Natural leader with excellent people management and communication skills

• Comfortable making decisions in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment

• Flexible, solutions-focused and hands-on approach
