Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineers
Location: Stuttgart or Nuremberg, Germany
Design Experience Required (must have experience in one of the following):
• Pilot or solenoid valves
• Flow sensors or mass flow controllers
• Molecular Pump (Magnetic Bearing)
We are currently seeking three highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineers
to join a fast-growing, innovation-led global technology company specialising in high
performance industrial automation systems. With strong R&D investment and a
collaborative, multicultural environment, this organization is driving technological
advancement in precision motion control, robotics, and high-end automation applications
across multiple industries.
1. Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Valve Technology
Key Responsibilities:
· Competitive analysis of pilot and solenoid valves, including cost and material considerations.
· Define product specifications and develop mechanical design concepts.
· Execute detailed mechanical design, ensuring manufacturability and ease of assembly. Lead prototype testing and resolve issues in development and series production.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
· Proven experience in the design of valve products such as pilot valves, spool valves (pilot operated, direct operated, high-frequency valves), and electromagnetic proportional valves.
· In-depth knowledge of machining processes, precision injection molding, and rubber molding techniques.
2. Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Mass Flow Controllers
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct requirements analysis and market research in the field of mass flow controllers (MFC).
· Develop and prototype thermal mass flow sensors and verify their performance.
· Design internal structures for MFC products, support prototyping, and validate manufacturing processes.
· Close the loop between testing results and production implementation.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
· Strong familiarity with materials, design principles, and manufacturing techniques related to flow sensors.
· Experience in the development of thermal mass flow sensors or controllers is a strong advantage.
3. Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Molecular Pump (Magnetic Bearing)
Key Responsibilities:
· Mechanical Design: Lead full-cycle mechanical design of magnetic levitation molecular pumps, from concept to series production.
· Innovation & Research: Monitor industry trends, explore advanced materials and technologies, and support patent applications.
· Project Coordination: Manage R&D projects, resource planning, and cross
· functional collaboration for design optimization.
· Customer Support: Provide technical support, develop custom solutions, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
· At least 8 years of experience in the mechanical design of magnetic levitation molecular pumps.
· Track record of developing and bringing such products into series production.
· Proficiency in mechanical design and CAD tools such as AutoCAD or similar.
