Warehouse Supervisor - Nights

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading food distribution business based in Waltham Cross, who are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor (Nights) to join their busy and fast-paced operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and experience in a food or temperature-controlled warehouse environment. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the night shift operation, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all warehouse activities

• Supervise and coordinate a team of warehouse operatives on the night shift, ensuring smooth running of operations.

• Plan workloads and allocate resources to meet operational deadlines and KPIs.

• Oversee the accurate picking, packing, and loading of food products ready for delivery.

• Maintain compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and temperature control standards.

• Conduct shift briefings, motivate staff, and manage performance through training and feedback.

• Liaise closely with Transport and Day Shift teams to ensure a seamless handover.

• Monitor stock integrity and support with inventory checks when required.

• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

About You

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or Shift Manager within a food, FMCG, or chilled environment.

• Strong understanding of food safety, H&S, and warehouse procedures.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

• Confident using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.

• Able to work nights on a permanent basis.

• Reliable, proactive, and capable of managing a team in a high-pressure environment.
