An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and detail-oriented finance professional to join a well-established international business based in the Stockport area.

This role is ideal for someone looking to step further into management accounts and develop within a supportive finance team offering genuine progression and study support.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and fast-paced environment where you’ll gain exposure across month-end processes, reporting, reconciliations and wider finance operations within a commercially driven business.

The Role

Working closely with the wider finance team, responsibilities will include:

Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts

Accruals and prepayments

Balance sheet reconciliations

Journal postings

Supporting month-end close processes

VAT and reporting support

Invoice and ledger management

Supporting finance process improvements

Ad hoc finance and commercial reporting tasks

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

AAT qualified/studying or studying ACCA/CIMA

Experienced within a finance/accounts environment

Confident with reconciliations and month-end support

Strong on Excel and comfortable working with finance systems

Organised, accurate and deadline-driven

Eager to develop and progress within finance

Previous experience within a product-led, retail, FMCG, distribution or commercial environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
