Do you enjoy making decisions in real time, leading from the front and building high-performing operational teams? If you’re at your best in fast-paced environments where service, speed and customer experience are everything, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
We’re partnering with an ambitious, technology-led business that’s transforming how same-day and final-mile operations are delivered. Backed by innovative technology and significant growth plans, they’re looking for a Senior Live Operations Manager to help shape and scale their live operations function.
This isn’t a traditional operations management role. It’s a hands-on leadership position where you’ll be at the centre of the operation, driving performance, solving problems as they happen and creating a culture of pace, accountability and continuous improvement.
You’ll lead the day-to-day live operations team, ensuring customer experience, service levels and operational performance remain exceptional throughout every shift.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and motivating a high-performing live operations team.
Owning operational KPIs including SLA performance, on-time delivery, response times and productivity.
Using operational data to identify trends, solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
Managing live operational incidents with urgency and confidence.
Developing and coaching team members while creating a culture of accountability.
Building and improving operational processes and SOPs to support future growth.
Working closely with technology and leadership teams to improve systems and operational efficiency.
You’ll be someone who naturally brings energy into an operation and enjoys leading from the front.
You’ll likely have experience within environments such as:
Same-day or final-mile logistics
Rapid delivery or e-commerce operations
Transport or network control
Contact centre operations
Mobility or technology-led operations
High-volume customer operations
You’ll also have:
Experience leading shift-based operational teams.
A strong track record of delivering against KPIs and service levels.
Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
The ability to remain calm under pressure and confidently manage operational incidents.
A passion for continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams.
Salary of £45,000 – £55,000
The opportunity to join a fast-growing, technology-driven business at an exciting stage of its journey.
Genuine autonomy and the chance to shape how operations evolve.
A collaborative, ambitious and entrepreneurial culture.
Clear opportunities for progression as the business continues to scale.
If you’re looking for an opportunity where you can make a real impact, lead from the front and help build something exciting, we’d love to hear from you.
