Security Service Engineer
Location: Market Harborough, Leicestershire and surrounding areas
Salary: Circa £32,000–£33,000 basic + travel time + on-call allowance + overtime
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
The Opportunity
We're working with a well-established, nationally recognised fire and security business that's looking to bring an experienced Security Service Engineer into its team covering Market Harborough and the surrounding areas.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being out in the field, working across different customer sites and having the support of a larger business behind them.
You'll be joining an established engineering team with access to ongoing training, technical support and genuine opportunities to progress.
The Role
You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault-finding across a range of electronic security systems, including:
CCTV systems
Intruder alarms
Access control systems
Associated electronic security equipment
You'll be attending customer sites, diagnosing faults, carrying out planned maintenance and making sure systems are operating effectively.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience servicing and maintaining electronic security systems
Strong fault-finding skills across CCTV, intruder alarms and/or access control
Experience working independently in a field-based engineering role
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Full UK driving licence
You don't need to have worked on every system out there. We're looking for someone with a solid technical foundation who's happy to continue learning.
