Are you a highly organised, proactive administrator looking for a role where you can really make your mark? We’re working exclusively with a fast-growing, purpose-led business based in Twickenham that is revolutionising how schools across the UK manage their printing and they need a talented Business Administrator to help power their growth.
The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established and expanding company in the education technology sector, helping over 100 schools nationwide cut costs and reduce their environmental impact through an innovative, fixed-price printing solution. They’re a small, energetic team with a big mission and this hire is central to their operations.
As Business Administrator, you will be the operational hub of the business keeping things running smoothly across administration, customer service, finance support, and sales coordination. You’ll work directly alongside the leadership team and have genuine responsibility from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will span the full breadth of the business:
› Managing day-to-day administration and office operations, keeping systems, processes, and records in excellent order
› Acting as a key point of contact for school clients handling queries, supporting onboarding, and ensuring a brilliant customer experience
› Coordinating printer installations, engineer visits, and ongoing service logistics
› Supporting the finance function: raising invoices, tracking payments, chasing outstanding accounts, and assisting with month-end reporting
› Providing administrative support to the sales team including preparing quotes, proposals, and managing CRM data
› Liaising with suppliers, external accountants, and other third parties professionally and efficiently
› Supporting marketing activity such as email campaigns and maintaining prospect databases
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
› Solid experience in a business administration, office management, or operations role
› Exceptional organisational skills and a genuine eye for detail
› A confident, professional communication style both written and verbal
› Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; comfort with CRM platforms
› The ability to juggle multiple priorities with a calm, solutions-focused approach
› A proactive mindset someone who spots what needs doing and gets on with it
Experience in the education sector or familiarity with HubSpot CRM would be a bonus, but is not essential. What matters most is the right attitude and a strong administrative foundation.
