About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major electrical construction projects across Texas, with a particular focus on large-scale new construction and Data Center developments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical construction background and a proven track record managing complex projects with values of $20M+. Data Center experience is highly desirable, although candidates from other large-scale, technically complex construction environments such as hospitals, hotels, high-rise buildings, and other major commercial developments will also be considered.
This is a senior position for someone who can take ownership of projects, work effectively with General Contractors and subcontractors, and lead teams through successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
Manage project budgets, schedules, manpower, procurement and overall project performance.
Coordinate closely with General Contractors, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams.
Manage project documentation, RFIs, change orders, submittals and commercial requirements.
Monitor project progress, identifying risks, delays and opportunities for improvement.
Lead and develop Project Managers, Superintendents and wider project teams.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Support estimating, bidding and project planning where required.
Provide clear reporting on project performance and manpower requirements.
Requirements
8+ years of electrical construction experience, with significant project management responsibility.
Strong background in new construction.
Experience managing projects valued at $20M+.
Electrical construction background is essential.
Data Center experience strongly preferred.
Candidates with major hospital, hotel, high-rise, industrial or other large-scale building experience will also be considered.
Experience working with General Contractors and major subcontractors.
Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets and manpower planning.
Experience with P6 and/or Bluebeam preferred.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
Stable employment history with clear career progression.
