Job Overview

We are supporting a fast-growing fibre and connectivity provider with the appointment of a Business Development Manager focused on MSP and Systems Integrator partnerships.

This role is about building relationships with managed service providers and systems integrators who deliver wider technology solutions to their customers. The company’s connectivity services can form part of broader managed service, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure and digital transformation projects.

This is a consultative partner sales role. The right person will understand how connectivity fits into wider technology solutions and will be able to build commercial relationships with partners who can generate long-term revenue.

The business is looking for someone who can think beyond a straightforward product sale. You will need to understand partner ecosystems, customer challenges and how fibre/connectivity can sit within broader solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop relationships with MSPs, SIs and IT service providers

Position fibre, DIA, Ethernet and connectivity services as part of wider technology solutions

Build partner relationships that generate recurring revenue

Work with partners on customer opportunities involving connectivity and network services

Support commercial conversations and partnership agreements

Engage with technical, commercial and senior stakeholders

Work closely with sales, product, marketing and service delivery teams

Help shape the messaging and value proposition for MSP/SI partners

Maintain accurate pipeline, activity and revenue forecasting

Share partner and market insight internally

Ideal Candidate

Experience in MSP, SI, telecoms, connectivity, cloud, networking or managed services sales

Understanding of partner-led or indirect sales models

Experience selling into or through technology partners

Knowledge of business connectivity, fibre, DIA, Ethernet, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity or managed services would be ideal

Able to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders

Strong relationship-building and commercial negotiation skills

Consultative, curious and able to spot wider solution opportunities

Comfortable building a route to market rather than inheriting one

Proactive, resilient and commercially minded
